One-time Vice President of Development at Saban Productions, David Greenfield is best known as a game show producer. He began with a wealth of relationship shows beginning in the late 70's, starting with his first producer credit The Dating Game, later,the popular Love Connection, A Perfect Score, Three's a Crowd, Second Honeymoon, and many others. He got his start working on 575 episodes of Chuck Barris' The Newylwed Game! He is also known for producing and writing a varied lot of children's series from the award-winning Nickelodeon show Legends of the Hidden Temple, Disney's Off the Wall, Family Challenge, NBC's I'm Telling, I Can't Believe You Said That, Family Secrets and others. Additionally, Greenfield has produced mainstream shows such as Dick Clark's Bloopers and Practical Jokes, Quicksilver, All Star Blitz, Hollywood Teasers, Battlestars, Fake Out, Shop Til You Drop and a plethora of others. He is recognized as one of the world's leading authorities on Internet and computer behavior and digital media technology--including it's' use and abuse. Dr. Greenfield's recent work is focused why digital technologies are abused, and in some cases potentially addictive, and how we as a society can use technology in a more balanced and healthy manner. Dr. Greenfield lectures to public and medical/behavioral health groups throughout the world has appeared numerous times on CNN, Good Morning America, The Today Show, CBS Early Show, Fox News, The O'Reilly Report, Anderson Cooper, and NBC News. His work has also been featured in U.S. News and World Report, Business Week, Newsweek, People, Time, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, and numerous other popular publications. Dr. Greenfield is the author of "Virtual Addiction" as well as several professional articles and book chapters on Internet, computer and digital behavior and the recent DVD called "Raising Generation D: A guide for parent raising children in the digital age." Dr. Greenfield is a fellow and past-president of the Connecticut Psychological Association; he maintains his home and clinical practice of Psychological and Behavioral Medicine and Addictions treatment in Connecticut and conducts research, training, consultation, and lectures throughout the world on the impact of, Internet, Smartphone, and Digital Media Technology use and compulsion.
